Books by Members
We have an extremely active and engaged community here at Friends of Korea. FoK members have been at the forefront of advancing Korean-American cultural understanding and relations for many years. As a result, there is an incredible wealth of information penned by FoK members - memiors, history, anthropology, children's books, cookbooks, translations of Korean novels, poetry and short stories, novels, etc etc.. These books are the foundation for future study of the Korean peninsula, as well as the culture of its residents. Fiction tells the stories of lives lived while nonfiction gives us a fuller understanding of all aspects of Korea.
FoK seeks to be a repository of information on books written by FoK members and make it available for future generations to enjoy. The current list is below and reflects all the books we know about that were written by our members - RPCVs, Fulbrighters, and others from the business world, the US Army, etc. If you have a book(s) to add to the list please use this form. If you find a mistake in the list, please send an email to [email protected].
