Who We Are
Friends of Korea was founded by former Peace Corps volunteers who served in the Republic of Korea, with the intent of renewing the "third goal" of the Peace Corps, enabling people to people understanding between America and other countries. It has since expanded its focus to include anyone with an interest in enhancing cultural awareness of and friendship with Korea.
Friends of Korea는 이전에 한국에서 평화봉사단으로 일했던 단원들이 평화봉사단의 “제 삼의 목표, 즉 사람 대 사람의 측면에서 미국과 다른 나라 간의 이해를도모하자는 새로운 의도를 가지고 설립되었다. 그 후로 취지를 확장하여 누구든 한국문화에 대한 의식을 높이고 한국과의 우정에 관심을 가진 모든 이들을 포함한다.
